Bio-plastic Cutlery Tool
Three-in-one
Prototype design of a cutlery tool that can function as a spoon, fork, knife, and teaspoon. The project was featured in John Sorrell’s annual Design Yearbook.
Made from bio-plastic
The negative effects of single-use plastics are now widely known. However, back in 2001, this issue was only just starting to gain attention. When the first bio-plastic samples became available, there was a goal to replace single-use plastic cutlery with a more practical and sustainable option.
Studiomama created a cutlery tool that could function as a spoon, fork, knife, and teaspoon, and produced a prototype using bio-plastic. This project was featured in John Sorrell’s annual Design Yearbook.
