Inspired by the work of Bruno Munari’s ‘Guardiamoci negli occhi’ – ‘Look into my eyes’, this series of face castings takes on sculptural forms that echo the spirit and playful exploration found in 'Look into my eyes', encouraging viewers to ‘see’ through the eyes of others.

Inspired by the work of Bruno Munari’s 'Guardiamoci negli occhi' – 'Look into my eyes', this artist's book was an exercise in seeing the world through the eyes of others. This series of face castings takes on sculptural forms that echo the spirit and playful exploration found in 'Look into my eyes', encouraging viewers to 'see' through the eyes of others.
The sculptures are cast and finished locally in the East End of London, close to Studiomama, one of the few remaining traditional iron casters in central London, established in 1880. These sculptures embody a sense of heritage and craftsmanship that aligns with the area's artistic spirit.
