Hand-held mirror
Following a series of successful collaborations with Skagerak, such as the Pilot Coat Hanger, the Danish design company asked Studiomama to create a tabletop object. Using FSC-certified oak, Studiomama created an understated, sculptural and yet highly functional hand-held mirror.
Sculptural shapes in solid oak
Skagerak commissioned Studiomama to come up with some ideas for tabletop objects.
We designed a hand-held mirror with an element of surprise to arouse curiosity. The mirror is attached to the underside of a beautifully curved FSC-certified solid oak sculpture, which is hidden away and protected when not used or left visible for display. The sculpture’s rounded top makes it easy to handle.
