Changing perception of materials

Wentworth Pewter commissioned Studiomama to design a big, inviting fruit bowl – that would encourage people to eat more healthily. Studiomama created flat-sided, shallow bowls in three bright colours – white, yellow, and orange – combined with pewter, changing the perception of the material and creating a fun interaction.

The pewter bowls won first prize at Design Nation’s Eureka exhibition at Somerset House and also won the Worshipful Company of Pewter's 2007 competition.
