Lexon commissioned Studiomama to design an alarm clock that was simple and intuitive. We pared back the design of increasingly complicated alarm clocks and made it simple – tilt it one way to turn the alarm on, tilt it back to turn the alarm off.

Studiomama pared back the design of increasingly complicated alarm clocks and made it simple – tilt it one way to turn the alarm on, tilt it back to turn the alarm off. Removing the snooze function was a controversial move but, counterintuitively, has been shown to make getting up easier. A series of cheerful colours – including yellow, blue, pink, orange, turquoise and bamboo-green, are guaranteed to start the day with a smile.
